Holiday Greetings

After reading an article about how to draft a holiday letter, then hearing a friend complain about one she’d received that was full of gloom and doom, my husband and I decided to try our hand at it. For those of you who’ve already seen this, I’ll provide a couple of funny videos so you won’t feel you’ve wasted your time. Click the image to enlarge and clarify it.

This is one I felt really guilty for laughing at, but those tiny feet kicking in the air just cracked me up.

You may have seen the cats playing pattycake, but now you’ll know what was going through their little heads.

I hope all of you have a great holiday season!

I’ve seen those cats several times now, and I always crack up. They so remind me of my brothers!

  2. Those are so funny. I feel guilty laughing at the little duckies but since they’re all ok…. (mom looks a little ruffled at the end there).
Thanks for sharing, made my day. Happy Holidays Lisa!

  5. Yay, you’re back! LOVE the holiday newsletter, it’s hilarious. You’ve skewered the genre right properly!

Thanks for the videos, they’re funny. I was very glad to see all the duckies made it back to momma at the end (and that she decided to run before the wind, instead of trying to tack across it.)

Beth: Sounds like your brothers were pretty entertaining.

Marla: I’m glad I could make your day. I’m looking forward to seeing you at our critique group again.

Roxie: My philosophy is why be serious when you can be funny. I think I’ll start a new tradition with smart-aleck Christmas letters.

Stina: It’s good to see you dropping by. Congrats on your new column at Query Tracker!

Chris: Glad you liked the newsletter. It was so much easier and more fun to do than homemade cards.

Todd: I guess we’re both just warped, getting a kick out of the misfortune of poor little ducks. But at that age, they’re probably very flexible.
